Beer Batter Bread

BEER BATTER BREAD

1 package Beer Batter Bread Mix
12 ounces beer or unflavored seltzer
2 Tablespoons melted butter

Preheat oven to 375° F.  Grease a 8 1/2” x 4 1/2” loaf pan.  In a large bowl, pour the Beer Batter Bread Mix.  Stirring with a wooden spoon, slowly add the beer or seltzer.  The batter will be lumpy.  Pour batter into the loaf pan.  Brush top with melted butter.  Bake for 1 hour.  Remove from the oven and let cool for about 30 minutes.  Serve warm.

CHEESY BEER BATTER BREAD

Add 1 cup grated cheddar or Parmesan cheese to dry ingredients and proceed with original directions.
