Bread Pudding Mix

BREAD PUDDING MIX

1/3 loaf of large French bread or 1 baguette – cut into 1 inch cubes
1 3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup whole pecans, optional

Preheat oven to 350° F.  Put bread in the bottom of a greased 9 X 13 inch pan.  Blend milk and egg with a fork until well blended.  Pour milk mixture over bread in the pan.  Sprinkle MIX on top and drizzle with melted butter.  Top with pecans if desired.  Bake 50 to 60 minutes, until it is brown on top.  Serve warm.
