Combine 1/3 cup of mix with 1/4 cup mayonnaise (Miracle Whip (R) works well), 1/4 cup plain yogurt and 1 teaspoon Dijon-Style mustard. Stir well. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve with Pita toasts, crackers or vegetables. Makes 3/4 cup.
Use 1/2 cup of mix to a 1 pound loaf of bread. Mix in with dry ingredients then continue making according to bread directions.
Mix 1/3 cup of dip mix with 3/4 cup sour cream. Stir and serve on top of baked potatoes. Try No Fat Sour Cream.
CHEDDAR BROCCOLI SOUP
4 Tablespoons butter
1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup BAC’UN-E-CHEDDAR DIP MIX
2 cups chicken broth
4 cups light cream or milk
1 – 10 3/4 ounce can cream of celery soup
1 – 10 ounce package broccoli – thawed
Melt butter in medium saucepan. Add flour and mix thoroughly. Add BAC’UN-E-CHEDDAR DIP MIX and stir well. Add chicken broth and stir until mixture just comes to a boil. Add cream or milk and soup and stir. Add broccoli, then turn down heat and cook 5 to 10 minutes or until desired thickness. Stir often.
